Hummingbirds

The hummingbird chicks have grown up and one has fledged.  I saw it go and it landed in a ficus tree just a few feet away from its nest.

Moving In

More families are moving into the City homes.  Welcome!  It is good to see the many new couples bring their families into new houses.

We're not quite five years from the night of the fire.  Recovery speeds and then slows.  There are 356 homes on the property now. Of these about 345 are occupied.  With approximately 10 or 11 getting ready to move into.  There are still 244 vacant lots to build on.

Mother's Day Brunch

Mother's Day Brunch was well attended and to French Toast was great, I especially liked the bacon!
