Kip Construction has begun making big rocks into little ones.  Soon the pile will be gone!

Kip Construction has the equipment in place and has started to clear the first pile of concrete near the dog park.  Chris says it will take a while to complete.

Baby Hummingbirds

Hummingbird Egg

A hummingbird's egg that didn't hatch.  Mom kicked it out of the nest onto the porch where I found it.  Sadly it seems that she won't have any babies this time around.  -UPDATE-  Mother hummingbird has been seen feeding a fledgling hummer in the trees next to the porch, so apparently one of her babies did make it.

The Castanon's new home has been moved onto Space 33.  Welcome to the neighborhood!  We look forward to meeting you in the near future!

The coach that has been parked over on 556 has been moved to it's forever home on Space 100.

 Rumor has it that this coach will eventually end up on Space 473.  Until then it will be parked over near 557.

Mother's Day Brunch

One hundred seventy six!  That's how many tickets were sold for this years Mother's Day Brunch.  I don't know if this was the best showing yet, but it has to be right up there.  The Recreation Club stepped right up for this event.  Bloody Marys, Screw Drivers and complimentary Champagne.  Breakfast was great today!  Happy Mother's Day!

Cinco De Mayo at the Dog Park

We had a wonderful Cinco De Mayo celebration today.  Food, refreshments, good company and their owners made this a day to remember!  Thanks to Diane, Jennifer, Karen, Gene and all the others who made this gathering so nice.
