One Hundred Mules

One Hundred Mules Walking the Los Angeles Aqueduct arrived at the Stetson Ranch yesterday.  After a well deserved rest the wranglers and mules were ready to greet the public today.
Mules and wranglers from The McGee Creek Pack Station ( www.mcgeecreekpackstation.com ) were on hand to discuss their adventures and well as introduce their gentle and, for the moment, well behaved mule partners.  I was told they were practicing for a Veteran's Day Parade in Glendale on Western Ave this Monday.  It sure looked like they were relaxing and soaking up some sun to me.

On Saturday, November 9th, 9 AM to 12 PM, the mules will be at the Hansen Dam Equestrian Center where some of them will be hitched to a 100 year old wagon pulling pipe from the aqueduct.  The Equestrian Center is at 11127 Orcas Ave., Sylmar, CA.  I really think the address should be in Lake View Terrace but the equestrian center says it's in Sylmar.
